ABOUT THE PROJECT:
YOU THE TRUE VALUE OF YOUR MONEY
In the Europe-wide campaign #DonateforAfrica, removable stickers are attached to banknotes to demonstrate just how much each sum of money is worth when used as a donation for refugees in Africa. For example, a € 20 note is worth 20,000 litres of clean drinking water, or 200 vaccinations.
An initiative of United for Africa.
SMALL DONATION, BIG IMPACT:
A variety of different stickers have been attached to Banknotes in value from 5€ - 100€. These stand for different examples of what effect your money can have once you donate it:
INFORMATION ABOUT THE DONATION:
Water purification tablets are an essential part of aid equipment in refugee camps. Just 5 Euro is enough to dispense around 5,000 tablets and therefore give people access to 5,000 litres of clean water.
Babies and small children who are suffering from acute malnutrition need fast access to special, high-energy food to prevent them from dying of starvation. € 10 are enough to provide emergency supplies of this life-saving, high-energy food to around 100 children.

Especially in the aftermath of catastrophes, refugees often arrive at refugee camps in a state of extreme malnutrition and need an immediate source of energy. With € 50, 500 meals can be distributed in the form of energy bars.
Measles, tetanus and polio are major threats to people living in emergency accommodation. € 100 are enough to finance 1,000 vaccination shots. These could protect 620 adults against tetanus, 280 children against polio and 100 babies against measles.
Help us put more banknotes with stickers into circulation and spread the message about #DonateforAfrica. Order your own removable stickers free of charge here.
